Autumn Change and Transformation

Autumn is a season of change and transformation. As the leaves on the trees turn color and drop to the ground we too can transform and create internal space for our deeper visions. Prayer, meditation, hikes in nature, and eating vibrant foods aligned to the Fall season help us to attune to this special time of the year. Pumpkins, apples, brussels sprouts, peas, and squash are delicious additions to your meals during this time of year. Also, spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and ginger add warmth and nourishment to your body and variety to your food creations.

My daughters and I recently made a pumpkin cake full of Fall's fare. It's a delicious treat at any time of year but felt especially nourishing to create and eat during this season.
